Research Areas

Research foci for empirical inquiry include but are not limited to:

• Virtues and virtue development

• Contextual influences on moral and immoral attitudes and behaviors

• Antecedents and consequences of religiousness and spirituality in relation to flourishing

• Definition, antecedents, and interventions of human flourishing

As part of our research foci, we are explicitly focusing on disability and flourishing as well. We are partnering with the Baylor Center for Developmental Disabilities as we explore how our research can incorporate this focus.
